Summary
“What. What? No, Ponce can’t leave.”
He can almost hear the Senator’s frown over the phone. “Why not? His report says he has healed nicely, and he’s still fit to go back into action.”
“No, no, no, no, Ponce has to stay with me,” John says, hardly caring how panicked he sounds. We’re going to New York. He can’t leave, he can’t die.

Summary
“I have a life here because you asked me too,” Ponce says. “I followed you here because you said it’d be fun to do something new; I can follow you to Massachusetts for the same reason.” He meant what he said as it came out of his mouth, but Ponce doesn’t realize just how much he means it until then, as Jack looks at him with a mix of awe and something else he can’t place. Ponce realizes that he’d do anything for him. He’ll go to the moon with Jack and his government degree and build them a house of moon rock where Jack can hang his degree on the wall for everyone to see.
He’d do anything in the universe Jack asked of him, and it’s a startling discovery to make at 2 pm, 5 days before Christmas.

“What do you have to teach me?”
“Where to start... What do ya already know?” Jack asked.
“I know the North Star,” Ponce said and pointed at the solitary white dot sitting low on the horizon.
Jack nodded his approval. “Any constellations?”
“Just the Big Dipper.”
The taller boy scoffed. “That’s not a constellation, Poncey. The Big Dipper’s an asterism.”
“Oh?” Ponce wasn’t really paying attention to the sky anymore. He was far more interested in the person telling him about stars than the stars themselves.

Summary
"Bilbo never bothers denying that he is a slight, little bit, probably infatuated with Thorin. It’s not something that bothers him. Really. He’s pretty sure that everyone very likely has a little flutter in their chest for the dwarf. He’s something grand and unattainable.
And it’s really much safer if it stays that way."

Summary
JFK nodded thoughtfully, “The original Kennedy was in the Navy, he didn’t have any tattoos though.”
“Yeah?” Ponce replied, back to outlining another petal. He was silent for a few seconds, staring intently in the mirror. JFK watched his bare back, hearing the crinkle of the black latex against the shorter teen’s skin. “If you’d ever like one, just let me know.”
A rambly fic about how JFK got his tattoo.

Summary
“It’s angel food cake,” he said. He waited. When Aziraphale did nothing but nod politely: “It’s funny, see, ‘cause-”
“No, no, I get it.” Aziraphale nodded again. “Very funny.”
“Oh, shut up, it is-”
“May I ask what brought this on?”
Crowley paused. “Can’t a guy just want to try baking?”
(Or, Crowley makes Aziraphale food after the world doesn't end. It has absolutely nothing to do with how much he wants to make Aziraphale smile.)

Summary
He would write about Lafayette swimming in the Rur River, back when they were a little younger and had both of their legs, chest glimmering in the night as Alex sat and picked at the scabs on his legs from walking through thickets of forest, too scared that they might brush against one another if he got in.
"I don't bite, you know," Lafayette told him, one eye open.
Alex laughed, all sharp edges and quick wit. "Yeah, but I do."
