Summary
“Jae…Jaehyunnie?” Jungwoo tilts his head, but again, he’s more than a little weak from the surgery, and his head just lolls over his chest pathetically. God, he’s so cute.
“I remember you!” He giggles softly, managing to lift his hand enough to poke Jaehyun in the chest. “You’re…that person, right?”
Jaehyun’s acting skills are seriously being put to the test right now, because he thinks his face is about to explode if he keeps attempting to hold in his laugh without showing it on his features.
Jungwoo has to get emergency surgery and accidentally (?) opens his heart out to Jaehyun along the way. And he literally doesn't remember any of it. It's quite the situation.[8/29/24: edited to remove any mention of that man's name- we don't associate him with nct anymore]

It wasn’t even supposed to happen. Midnight conversations had usually felt rather liminal between the two of them. Until all resolve just snapped —the sexual tension, that is, above everything else. The first time it did, they thought they could just let it pass. Something along the lines of it being the first and the last. An unspoken, yet sworn statement.
But god were they mistaken.
