Summary
As an incredibly talented collegiate diver and one of two captains for the University of Tokyo’s extremely successful Swim and Dive team, Fushiguro Megumi has no time for distractions. He’s far too busy with grueling practices, demanding courses, and an insanely complicated family life to spend time on foolish things like cute guys or, god forbid, romance. He needs to keep his head in the game so he can lead his team to their fourth national title in five years, thereby ensuring he doesn’t make a fool of himself or make his team regret voting him in as the youngest captain their university has ever seen.
So, he’s got no time for romance. Especially when the guy trying to woo him is the captain of the men’s water polo team (the very same team that cost them the title two years ago), and especially when that captain is the most frustratingly perfect idiot he’s ever met, one Itadori Yuuji.

absolutely insane characterization and all of the dynamics were so good in different ways! itafushi obviously, but also nobara/megumi and gojo/megumi. this story also has one of the most realistic depictions of an eating disorder that ive ever seen. this entire fic was phenomenal. ITAFUSHI NATION

one of the best satosugu fanfics i have ever read. i love the portrayal of their relationship, the way it builds, flourishes, and breaks is so natural. ALSO, the author’s metaphor and simile game is insane. They all helped in painting such a vivid picture. i love this fic and i cannot stress it enough.

“You’re dating someone? Oh shit, I didn’t know that,” Kuroo whistled.
“I wish,” Oikawa responded with a sigh, memory flashing back to the handsome stranger and his green eyes, warm complexion, and those arms –
“Oh, so it’s that kind of love. Alright, hit me. What’s his name?” Oikawa’s face twisted down in an offended glare. “You don’t know his name?” Kuroo asked carefully, lips teetering on the edge of a smile.
“Not yet, but I will. Mark my words, the next time he comes in here I’m going to get his name and his number,” Oikawa announced firmly.
“That is, if he comes back. You know, this could have been a one time thing,” Bokuto reminded unhelpfully.
