“You haven't decorated yet”, Crowley said so suddenly it shook Aziraphale out of his thoughts. “Y'know Christmas is tomorrow?”
“Ah, how funny, it must have slipped my mind”, Aziraphale said, trying to pursue Crowley's effortless coolness while saying it. Judging by the demon's expression he failed. “You're not celebrating this year, I presume?”
“Me? Uhh, nah. ‘S a human festival after all.”
“Quite right.” All the hopes of celebrating with Crowley flew out of the window.

It's the first Christmas after the Armageddon't and Aziraphale isn't feeling his usual Christmas spirit. Luckily with Crowley's help they both manage to make this Christmas the best they've ever had.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that a man in possession of a large amount of yarn will be assumed to be a knitter.
It is a truth universally acknowledged among crocheters that this is annoying as hell.
In his many years crocheting, Aziraphale has never been one to let that assumption stand. But faced with an opportunity to join a knitting group run by a very sweet new shop owner, he decides to play along. Even if it means he has to pretend he wants to learn how to knit. Even if it means he has to hide his skill with a crochet hook.
It’ll be worth it to get to know Crowley better. Probably. Hopefully.

Aziraphale and Crowley meet on the day of Aziraphale's first-ever therapy appointment. Their unexpected connection has the promise of blossoming into a kind of friendship neither of the two has ever experienced.
They have a lot of growing to do: Aziraphale’s sense of self-worth is as non-existent as his healthy work-life balance, while Crowley is so agoraphobic that the mere thought of going to the supermarket round the corner gives him clammy hands. And he hates clammy hands.
It’s not going to be easy and it's definitely not always fun, but it very much helps to have a friend who will say comforting things—or challenge you to a friendly competition to try and get a free lunch out of you.
