That's probably what makes the kid scary, being known despite their numbers. His reputation is pretty bad. He's looked captains in the eye as they cut off their pinkies and not so much as blinked before scoffing, "That's pretty gross. It's the twenty-first century, pinky cutting isn't as big of a punishment as it used to be."

Summary
So. You get sent to jail for some murders. You're in a suspension chamber, doomed to a wake-less existence until they squeeze all the life they can out of you while they've got you locked up. Fitting, given that you killed your sister's husband.
But some kid and a nurse you thought was dead break you out. They tell you to solve a murder.
And you agree. It's not like you have anything to lose.
Yet for some reason, the guy who's hated your guts since you were fifteen is helping you.
