Both of them look back at her with the same moony grin, and it twists up her insides more than the two glasses of wine she’s had should allow. Across the room from her Trixie is uncharacteristically silent, watching the two Katyas, watching Beatrice. He clears his throat and locks eyes with her. She knows.

Summary
It is the year 107 AG. Aang, Katara, Sokka and Toph are summoned to Cranefish City to help with the growing rift between benders and non-benders, but it becomes quickly apparent that something even more sinister is at play. The situation grows more volatile by the hour, and together, the four friends will uncover a plot that threatens the world with war. In a city gripped by corruption, bigotry and greed, where they can trust no one but each other, they will need more than vigilance to stay alive.
(This takes place after the events of the show as well as the comics, but it will not rely too heavily on the events of the comics for its context.)
