historyyuan fen.The pavilion is lit by a single electric lantern, which shudders every time they jump up a railing or slam into a pillar. It casts dramatic shadows as they grapple across wooden boards that pick up every footfall like the skin of a drum. They roll onto the long raft moored to the pier; it bobs under their weight, dipping under the water and lifting back up as they bounce apart, scattering sparkling water droplets over A-Xu’s skin.
Gong Jun lets Wen Kexing laugh for him, a cackle bright as a polished blade. Then he bares his teeth and barrels in to take A-Xu down with a brutal suplex.
