“It’s been so long since it rained, though!” Yor responded. “I used to go out and play in the rain all the time with my little brother. Yuri and I always loved to run around and have fun right in the middle of it.”
As much as Yor loved having a super consistent routine, she loved throwing Loid a curveball once in a while. Rain reminded him of misery, but it was nostalgic for Yor?
“Let’s go out in it!”
“What?!"

Alternatively: An Eden Academy AU one-shot where Yor convinces Loid to go out in the middle of the rain with her, and it's only in the middle of that mess that Loid realizes he's in love with her. Hijinks (and roasting) ensue!

Setting down their mugs, steaming and overfilled with marshmallows, Yor sits beside him. The windows rattle slightly with the force of the wind, raindrops loudly scattering against the glass. Somewhere in the distance, thunder rumbles softly.
Just when Yor determines that they’ll be spending the rest of the day in quiet, Loid’s hand twitches in hers.
“What was it like,” he says softly, finally, his words almost lost under the patter of the rain, “the first time you killed someone?”
