Takes place in The Black Phone universe.
Randy Massingil, a twelve-year-old boy, is promptly sent off to North Denver for the summer holidays for the second time in two years to be taken care of by his creepy uncle and distant grandmother. Unknown to him at first a serial killer who’s been named “The Galesburg's Grabber” is at large. This horrifying fact hits him smack bam in the face as he learns more and more about what he does to children from his new friends and realizes that the profile of this guy oddly matches his uncle. As he tries to desperately figure the truth out, he discovers more than what he is willing to know, causing a riff in his family and his untimely death.
