Summary
This is a rework of my prior series with the same title, putting into one story and making it a bit more cohesive and solid.
This is the tale of how a socially-awkward outcast with an in meets a freak. It's a story of finding yourself when the world seems to be tearing you to shreds at every turn. It's making your own family when your bloodline is nearly non-existent and trying to cope when the Upside Down tries to fuck with that. It's figuring out that it's okay to fall apart. Unfortunately, that may also mean that there's no being put back together.
TW: verbal and physical abuse; minor and temporary drug use; intrusive thoughts; suicidal thoughts/ideation; minor self-harm; canon-compliant violence.
