Summary
The curse of immortality-vampirism-was something Fluixon dubiously accepted as another way the world was engineered to spite him. That is, until he realised the curse had been passed onto him.
He was well aware of the rumours about the curse flitting between people, granting immortality to them until they inevitably passed it on. He heard the whispers of a people older than this world, who still remembered the days before war. Specific individuals walked out unscathed from things that were fatal to everyone else. It was in the back of his mind for the longest time, this strange inconsistency in the mortality of the people, which had almost foiled his plans so many times.
But... he needed this.
Immortality could fix everything.
