Summary
The hospital halls smelled sharply of antiseptic. Kakashi strolled down the corridor, coffee in hand, surgical mask pulled to his chin. His white coat was slightly wrinkled, hair as wild as ever.
Sakura was waiting at the nurses’ station, arms folded.
"You’re late. Again," she said coolly.

Summary
“What will we have once we leave this meadow?”
“Certainly not our hearts.”
“You're saying we’ll leave our organs in a field?”
“You laugh at it now, but I’ll tarnish you, leave you cursed and doomed for all eternity. It’s best we abandon all hope now.”
“My love, you could barrel a hole in my soul, leaving me changed and desecrated, and you’d still be the keeper of my desires.”
...
Actor of his generation Megumi Fushiguro is offered a role in a new movie that is destined to be awful, he’s sure of it. When he meets his co-star Yuuji Itadori, Megumi assumes his relationship with the amateur actor will be nothing but professional–with a hint of friendship. Nothing could have prepared the two for what awaited them on the other side of the curtain.

Summary
As an incredibly talented collegiate diver and one of two captains for the University of Tokyo’s extremely successful Swim and Dive team, Fushiguro Megumi has no time for distractions. He’s far too busy with grueling practices, demanding courses, and an insanely complicated family life to spend time on foolish things like cute guys or, god forbid, romance. He needs to keep his head in the game so he can lead his team to their fourth national title in five years, thereby ensuring he doesn’t make a fool of himself or make his team regret voting him in as the youngest captain their university has ever seen.
So, he’s got no time for romance. Especially when the guy trying to woo him is the captain of the men’s water polo team (the very same team that cost them the title two years ago), and especially when that captain is the most frustratingly perfect idiot he’s ever met, one Itadori Yuuji.
—
Or, immovable object (way too serious collegiate dive star Megumi) meets unstoppable force (way too sexy water polo team captain Yuuji). Hilarity ensues.

Summary
Now that he's looking for it, Yuuji can feel it: the words are etched into him, woven into his muscles and carved into his bones. Start by saving me, Itadori. Yuuji promised he would, so now he must.
The burning pain is starting to come back again. It begins in his chest this time, slightly to the right. Yuuji swallows, reaching up to press his hand against it.
So, he thinks dazedly, as the universe begins to take him apart. This is what happens when you break a Binding Vow.
-
Megumi dies in Shinjuku. Yuuji is thrown back in time to save him. Again, and again, and again.
(Or: Yuuji says “I’ll save you, Fushiguro” and the universe says “bet.”)
