    He is also, to his shame, very aware of why Lionel bought him the machine. She could have just gotten him a vibrator, of course, but no, that was not over the top and dramatic, and as such not Lionel’s style.

    So now Jude is staring into – did you call it eyes, if they were sitting in the… face, for lack of another word, of a machine?

    He’d heard that robots had become almost indistinguishable from actual humans, but he’d never expected it to be this… this uncannily true.
