Summary
Taeyong and Doyoung were known as the Tom and Jerry of the Art Department’s dance troupe. Even before Doyoung joined the team, they’ve been bantering ever since their first encounter. It’s been 2 years since then; and it’s also been 2 years since Taeyong had started pining over the younger.
A new academic year, another year that will be full of banter for the two. But would this year be any different than the years that had passed? A chance to get closer and be more comfortable with each other perhaps? An opportunity to dive into each other’s lives and personalities deeper than what they usually see. A possibility for their characters to blend into each other rather than clash.
All it takes is just one step, just one invitation, just one night.

Trying to keep up with being an adult is hard and it gets even harder when your source of energy isn’t around, when your hand to hold or shoulder to cry on is miles away, and you’re alone bottling up your emotions.
Compromises, sacrifices... how long are you willing to give them? Adjusting, understanding, being patient... how many things are you willing to do? How far are you willing to go for the one you love?
Maybe we wouldn’t know fully until we find our person.
Maybe we would try everything as much as possible because we don’t want them hurting. And if it’s really inevitable, we would want to lessen it even for a little.
Because maybe this is how it is when you love someone—you’d want all the good things in their lives even if it would mean sacrificing.

Wonpil caught Jae crying one night. He tried to figure out what the reason was, or who. When he did, a heavy weight constantly rested on his chest. He's feeling pain knowing that Jae was hurting, and it hurt more because the reason of Jae's pain came back.
Jae was broken. And Younghyun coming back to his life did not make it any better. He was an ex-best friend. It was supposed to stay that way.
Is it too late for Jae and Younghyun? Or is it a start for Jae and Wonpil? They're all hurting, but all they can do is smile and pretend that they're okay.

Sungjin and Wonpil were getting worried because Jae wasn't back at the hotel at almost midnight, only to find out that their guitarist was out drinking with his friends. Wonpil, getting worrier, offered to take him back to the hotel.
Drunk Jae was clingy and drunk Jae were saying things that Wonpil thought he was only saying because of the alcohol in his system.
But that wasn't the case.

"Do you know what the parts of the storm are?" Jae almost hears his voice as he remembers what he asked one of his friends few years ago.
"First, the rainbands. For me, this is like the ‘body’ of the storm. From the center, these bands can extend a few hundred miles. Less severe storms happen in the areas that it covers than the areas where the second part of the storm surrounds: the eyewall. This part is the most dangerous one. It has the strongest winds. While the last and center part, the eye, is the calmest because the strong winds from the eyewall that coverage towards the center never reach it. There’s a force that deflects the wind away from the center that causes the wind to rotate around it, leaving the exact center calm.
When the storm enters, it would get worse as time passes because it’d be from rain bands to the eyewall. One day, the wind could blow the house of your roof away; the next day the sky could be as clear as crystal. That’s because you’re in the center. And when the storm leaves, it’d be another chaos but as time passes, it’d get better.
I have a storm in my life, too."
And that storm is standing a few feet away from him right now.

He searched a lot of keywords related to their band, including the one that is just out of curiosity: Jaepil.
There were a lot of hilarious tweets, a lot of pictures of them staring at each other, video compilations of their interactions and their constant exchanges of look, and some stuff he didn't dare to look because he once did and he swore he's never gonna do it again: fanfictions.
