    There is something hauntingly beautiful, and equally sad, about getting heartbroken. In the long run, it might be a lesson learned, perhaps a funny story, or an opportunity for character development. But, at that moment, when the suffering is real and so intense it's palpable, the long run seems a world away. It's unforgivable and unforgettable. One remembers every detail. For Liam, it was a Friday night, after weeks of silence. It was in a home he had bought. In the bed, he shared with his husband. The same bed where he found Zayn sleeping peacefully and naked next to Harry Styles, one of his friends.

    Bucky's life is inverted when Hydra sells him to SHIELD, who quickly deem him psychologically unfit to work for them doing the only thing he knows how to do: assassinating. Instead, they assign him to be a helpmeet to one of their operatives, Steve Rogers, and promise him that they'll give him a job sniping if he can make it through a year helping Steve around the house and assisting him with his duties for SHIELD.

    Bucky takes on his position as a helpmeet with his usual style: driven, perfectionistic, and completely emotionally detached. But soon he finds that when he's not having his memories wiped regularly, he's not quite as much of a cold, calculating machine as he thought. He starts to remember more about his work with Hydra, inconvenient emotions crop up, and his careful plans begin to fall apart...
