The next thing Awsten knew, he was blinking awake in the weak rays of the sunrise.
It was beautiful, stretching across the sky like paint, but Awsten’s neck really hurt and his back was informing him how annoyed it was with him by sending pain throughout his entire body every time he moved.
Maybe sleeping sitting up wasn’t the best idea. But in his defense, he didn’t mean to. He was fully planning to go back inside and sleep in his bed like a normal person
