Summary
Sasha figures it’s well past midnight when Anne comes into the war room. She's wearing purple night clothes, clean and untattered, and the Commander catches a slight whiff of lilac. Judging by her slightly damp hair, she guesses it was shampoo (one of the many things she must’ve brought back from Earth). She suppresses the urge to tell Anne she smells nice.
Instead of taking one of the chairs, Anne hops up onto the table, not even a foot away from Sasha’s hands.
“Hi Commander,” she says mid-yawn.
“Hey there, sleepyhead,” Sasha replies, amused. “Couldn’t sleep?”
“Nah. I just wanted to visit you at midnight.” She's got a playful look in her eyes.

OR: Sasha wants to burn the midnight oil. Anne wants her to go to bed. A flirty battle ensues.

Marcy's blood got as cold as the drink she had on her hands. She took a long sip, hoping to disappear along with all the sweetness running down her throat. After a shaky breath, Marcy turned to Sasha.
"Sash, I need you to act like an adult for a second," She replied, wishing for the night to not get ruined by her coming up confession.

like marcy had initially feared; but she had made new friends at her new school, had found a place for her, and she should be happy, no matter how much she misses the life she’s left behind.
however, her new friends don’t understand the lingering trauma after amphibia, so after spending a week waking up from nightmare after nightmare, marcy gives in. she types in the familiar number - not saved in her contacts or anything - crosses her fingers, and hits dial.

Summary
Hi friends! This is an AU set 3 years after Luz leaves the Isles and goes back to the human realm. She hasn’t been in contact with anyone from the Isles since. One day Willow, Gus, and Hunter surprise Amity with a portal door to the human realm. Though they didn’t quite perfect it. It ends up sending her to Los Angeles, California instead where she meets Anne and the Planters. They all set out on an adventure to find Luz.
All while Luz has also set her mind to finding a way back to the Isles, for both Luz and Amity feel that an explanation between them is necessary. For some unshared events that happened as Luz was leaving the Isles.
Anne is also still trying to find a way back to Amphibia and thinks Luz might be able to help her.
I did my best to keep the characters’ personalities similar. Obviously slightly matured, but still light-hearted and comedic. And some events that take place in this story may go against the timeline of the shows (especially considering season 2b of toh and season 3b of amphibia are coming soon!!!)
None of these characters are mine, all belong to Dana Terrace - The Owl House and Matt Braly - Amphibia.

“Wait, there’s writing up there, see?” Sasha points upwards, and Anne follows her gaze skeptically. Sure enough, there’s a word written in the Newtopian print on the tank. “Anne, what’s it say?”
Anne hadn’t brought Marcy’s journal with her, but she doesn’t need to– she’s learned the Newtopian writing by heart, has it memorized and inked into her soul, the one way she had felt close to Marcy when she was on Earth. So she reads each letter, and her heart sinks.
“Host,” she says, something fizzly like soda inside her stomach. “It says host.”
