"Goddamnit, not again! Fifth time this month! What is wrong with you people, you're like animals
in heat." Dylan said, annoyed. Will turned around to see who Dylan was talking to. It was the boy he'd made eye contact with
earlier. He was dressed this time, wrapped in a white bathrobe, wearing Spiderman socks, his hair
was wet and a few drops were falling onto the floor — he'd probably just gotten out of the shower. Will was about to look back at Dylan but it was too late, the boy had already spotted him.
"Hey, you're the guy who was staring at me earlier! I'm Mike, nice to meet you!" he said with a

Summary
Will could not help the question that burst from his lips, it had been ricocheting around his brain like a stray tennis ball and was simultaneously causing him the most excitement, distress and exhilaration he had felt in his entire life.
“Are you my husband?” he blurted. Mike blinked in surprise.
“What?”
Will lost his nerve slightly. He wondered if he had been horribly wrong about this, and maybe in this strange timeline he was just a friend staying over and maybe he’d made a mistake and the daughter wasn’t really his daughter and—
Will faltered. “Um, I — well, I just thought you were — I mean, you are my husband, right?”
Mike looked very alarmed. He was staring at Will as though he had grown a second head.
“Obviously…?” he said, “Are you feeling alright? Did your mom make you try her D-I-Y coffee again?”
When nineteen-year-old Will Byers wakes up to find himself in his forty-three-year-old body, he must—with no experience whatsoever—play the part of world-renowned freelance painter, father of two very troublesome teenagers, and most strangely of all: Mike Wheeler’s husband.

Summary
“So you’ve been excited for Prom. Is that it?”
Will hesitates. “Yeah, I mean— I guess I just sort of…pictured myself with a date.”
“Oh,” Mike says, a little surprised. He doesn’t really know how to talk to Will about this part of him yet. He usually avoids the topic—unlike their friends—and waits for Will to bring it up first.
“It’s…stupid, I know.”
“No!” Mike says quickly. “No, nothing’s stupid.” Suddenly, an idea comes to him. “What if you and I go together?”
Will has always wanted to go to Prom with a date. And Mike—well, Mike doesn’t have a date, but he does have an idea.
