Summary
After Jungwon broke up with his girlfriend, he found himself with a two-bedroom apartment that he could no longer afford and an eviction note on his door. Luckily for him, Sunoo came in the clutch and managed to find someone for him.
"He's from Seattle, an international student. 2 years older than you.
"I speak English just alright." Jungwon nodded. "I don't think age is a problem either.
"Oh, that's not what I'm worried about."
"Then?"
"He's gay," Sunoo paused before he continued scandalously, "Gay as hell."
(or: after 21 years living as a "straight" man, Jungwon experienced his first gay panic)

"It's not your fault," he manages, squeezing Jungwon's shoulder in an attempt at comforting him. "Not at all. Please don't apologise to me for something that's out of your control. I mean, come on, it's a fucking curse because apparently those exist now. There's nothing you could do."
"I guess." He's still not making eye contact with Jay. "I'm just sorry that you've been dragged into this mess." He snorts humourlessly. "And now you're gonna have to be attached to me for literal months."
"It won't be so bad," Jay says, shocked to find that he means it. "Considering," he puts on a brave face, "considering it's us, right?"
Jungwon looks up at that, face set in wariness. "Yeah," he says slowly, eyes scanning Jay's face. "Yeah, considering it's us."
Or: Jay quickly learns that there are worse things than being curse-bonded to your bandmate.

Summary
The truth is that Jungwon has always looked at Jongseong with longing for something else, with wanting something more: at first it had been that heart-on-sleeve openness, the way Jongseong had readily let himself seem so vulnerable for everyone else to prod at, then it had been BigHit. Now, his feelings have transformed into something else entirely.

“Sunoo.” Jungwon nudges his screeching roommate in the side, drawing the other’s gaze to him immediately. Leaning in, he whispers the frantic question into Sunoo’s ear. “Who’s the guitarist?”
“Which one?” Sunoo mouths back, eyes widening as he looks between Jungwon and the stage.
Jungwon opens his mouth to reply, but is promptly distracted by the fact that the guitarist is looking at him again. This time, as their eyes connect over the sea of heads, the man does nothing to hide the smirk that crosses his face. It’s Jungwon’s turn to break eye contact now, turning his head to find Sunoo gaping at him. Immediately, the other seizes his sleeve, pulling him in.
“Oh my god,” he hisses into Jungwon’s ear. “Jay’s staring at you.”
(alternatively titled: tfw you go to a concert and the lead guitarist is hot)

Summary
Sunghoon spent ten years etching skate marks into the cold slate of an ice rink in Seoul, and every morning at 4am it was the same thing: freezing water splashed onto a face filled with misplaced determination. Warming up in the locker room, stretching his legs out over a foam roller, telling himself, I don’t really want to do this, but doing it anyway. He remembers holding a gold medal in his teeth and thinking he could still make it all worthwhile.
In the end, he was never going to be good enough.
Or: Park Sunghoon is not an irrational person. Enter Kim Sunoo, age eighteen, veritable perfect idol.
