"Actually, I've been meaning to ask something of you, Fit." Pac lets the hand fall from his face, but still held in his own. His upper body rose to come up into a upright position, sitting back on Fit's thighs. "It's nothing bad! It's— we're okay. It's okay. It's just— um—"
"Pac." Fit's free hand comes to hold his thigh, letting the warmth radiating from his hand seep deep into the cool metal just under the pajama pants, rubbing his thumb into the glass pane fixed into it. "It's okay, we can talk. What's on your mind?" He ignores how his brain is left lagging behind from the whiplash.
"Well. It's …" He trails off, his hand clutching the metal claw tightens around it. He bites his lip and avoids eye contact with the man under him. Fit is a patient man, he dare not push, so he sits and waits like he always does. For Pac? He'd wait several millennia. "It's about us."

“I’m sorry.” Pac whispers, thick with emotion, “I’m so sorry, Fit. I don’t– I don’t know what happened to me.”
“For which part?” Fit rumbles, splitting his words between chewed mouthfuls of apple, “When you turned my back into a checkerboard or when you started getting off to it?”
Pac goes still. He’s not breathing. Only staring with the whites of his eyes glowing as they flash to Fit.

"Fit?" A voice says, and Fit gasps. Phil? Phil! He knows Phil! Phil is his- what is Phil?
"Fit, mate, are you alright?" Phil asks, gently turning Fit around to face him. Fit sniffles as he sees Phil, trying to wipe away the tears. He's a big boy, just like what Pac said!
Or, Fit gets lost while regressed. Luckily, Phil is there to help him home.

Summary
Something is wrong with Fit and he will find out what it is, goddammit! That's something he's willing to promise too- anything to keep Fit happy and loved.
He re-opens his communicator, hesitating before clicking Fits name. It could be nothing, maybe the man got distracted by a flower or a bug he had never seen before, but something is nagging at his gut.
His fingers are pressing Fits contact before his mind processes it, typing out the words where are you? before he can stop himself.
OR, Pac sees Fit cry and comforts him. Short and sweet.
