Summary
Little six year old Izuku sits at his mom's feet, blood crusting on his nose and upper lip. His shirt is ripped in many places-- on the sleeve, on the hem nearest to his stomach, in the middle of the classic All Might bunny ears, and in the neckline that swoops down, lower than any should go. His hair was soaked in mud and little pieces of burrs, and his hands look calloused and scarred (for a six-year-old). He must've been in the forest again.
Not that Inko cared, of course.
The kid is useless, that much was clear. You could see it in his too-young face, in the way his obnoxious shoes were wider than most others because of that stupid extra joint that he didn't even need. You could see it in the way his lips quiver in fear and his face pales when someone gets too close to him. He couldn't defend himself. Heck, Izuku couldn't even clean up the messes he left behind. Why did Inko birth such a disappointment?

But to be honest, who would even care to look at him close enough to notice?
