Gerard Way does not fear death.
He does not believe there is an afterlife, a God, heaven or hell, reincarnation, hades, nirvana, or any of those hopeful fantasies that people create to make the end seem like less of a great, looming black hole of finality. He knows there is nothing more, that this is all he will get, that one day- sooner or later- his life will cease, like a candle blown out, a sudden fall into nothingness. Forever.
aka: Gerard has one year left of school, hes recovering from the turmoil of conflicting emotions the death of his beloved grandmother and witnessing perhaps the most horrific event of the decade have left him with. He’s hoping he can just make it through the year. However when he meets the new transfer student, his life may be changed irreversibly...
And what’s with the strangely ominous reoccurring dream that haunts him?

aka my friends asked me to write a fic about our original character and of course I deliver.

Out of everything he can remember of the last two-hundred forty-seven years, this is the most baffling: he is not in pieces.
After publicly insulting Sylvia, after open rebellion in the interlude, he’d expected to be scattered through her lab like dandelion seeds. To be burned, flayed, blinded. Slit. On rare occasions, when he’s earned it and she’s feeling sentimental, Sylvia likes to invite Marianne to weave bracelets with his ligaments. (Few memories carry through all of the rewinding like those of pain, but something in him knows never to let this secret of hers slip to anyone.)

Summary
What was supposed to be a nice road trip takes a turn for the worse when the gang gets stuck in a strange little town in the middle of nowhere, Ohio. As they're forced to relive the same week over and over again, the guys begin to notice even more disturbing details of life in Cedar Creek. Something is lurking in the fields at night, the local priest is hiding some terrible dark secret, and sometimes people disappear without a trace after the time loop resets, and nobody in town seems to notice that.
Frank knows there must be a way out of this hell they're stuck in. The main question is, how much is he willing to sacrifice to finally leave?
