Summary
Mirage texts them a photo of the address. It’s smack in the middle of nowhere, tucked into the mountains next to the ocean. V1 whirrs out a sigh and texts back. “Fine. Fine. I’ll check it out soon. Give me until after class.”
Mirage replies with a horribly compressed image of her with a thumbs up emoji. “Tyyy. I think you’ll like it >:)”
“That’s so reassuring!” V1 texts back. They turn their phone over before she can reply. It’s about an hour drive. Hopefully they still have signal by the time they get there in case some mountain demon comes for them.

Summary
2BDamned wasn’t a good person. He’d come to terms with that fact years ago. Creating monsters and hurting people was his sole purpose in life. He did it knowingly, willingly, and at times, enthusiastically. Beelzebub certainly had a devil put aside for him. There was no coming back from the things he’d done and he knew that.
But maybe… Just maybe… If he can do right by this kid, he can save him from the same fate.

Summary
After returning from an abandoned broadcasting station that had been interfering with their communications, Deimos doesn't feel quite right. The team chalks it up to sleep deprivation and general paranoia at first, but as his symptoms worsen and the phenomena surrounding them gets more and more intense, they all get a closer brush with Hell than they've ever experienced before.

Summary
It’s scarce work, clients are fickle and tend not to be patient, they’ll drop him for someone with better availability if he lags on a project. He picks through offers, grabs the short and easy stuff and gets single digit payments for transcribing videos, correcting software patches, helping some kid on the other side of the planet with their math homework.
When his rig was fresher, he did bigger stuff. Better stuff.
Less legal stuff.
And that’s what that message was about.

Fire.
Rage.
Passion.
It coursed through his veins all the same. He felt it drip down the back of his throat, settling heavy in his chest to run down his arms and into his hands, fingertips perpetually alight, buzzing with need. This awful, burning need.

Deimos took another breath, threading their fingers together and squeezing Sanford’s hand, his lips quivered but he managed to keep up the smile.
“Us clones, right? We… we’ve got a shelf-life, San.
Oh god.
“Y’know, the Agency hasn’t got much use for us past 40.”
No.
“And-- And I was gonna tell you, honest, I just thought I’d have more time.”
No, no, no, no, no, no--
“You weren’t supposed to find out like this and I’m so sorry that this shit is happening now and I--”
“Dei,” Sanford whispered, chest tight and blood gone cold. “How long?”

Summary
A sort of follow-up to Treason ch3 that I felt didn't fit with the general idea of that fic, but wanted to address anyways since there was a major thing I forgot to write so I'm just rolling with it. I'd advise reading that first, but it's not necessary.
Preposterous. How the hell was he just now noticing it after seeing it for the sixth time? And more importantly, why the hell hadn't Deimos said anything?
"Deimos, what in the absolute fuck?" he breathed, looking up at his patient with what could only be bewilderment.
Deimos, casual as ever, just shrugged, "Hey man, you're the one that left it there. I didn't wanna start shit."

Half-conscious and bleeding out in an empty storage room, Hank's tragic and very heroic death is interrupted. Of all the grunts in all the bases in all of Nevada, he manages to meet the only one out there that wasn't looking to kill him.
*This is my take on how Deimos ended up joining the team.
** ^ Wrong this is now a character study for Deimos and his dynamic with the rest of his team
