    Summary

"Tell Lan Zhan that I'm weeping uncontrollably," Wei Wuxian says to the juniors. "Tell him I'm truly pitiful and he needs to do everything I say until I'm well again."

Lan Congyi is in the middle of carefully holding his eyelids open to check his pupils, but he still obeys, bless him. "Hanguang-Jun, Senior Wei would like us to tell you that he can't stop crying and he'd like for you to do everything he says until he's better." There's a moment of silence, and then Lan Congyi says to Wei Wuxian, "Hanguang-Jun says he already does everything you tell him."

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji find themselves cursed, unable to see or hear each other. They figure things out anyway.

    Summary

"You worry me," Lan WangJi tells him seriously. He puts his hands on Wei WuXian's knees for lack of a better place to put them. Wei WuXian places his own hands on top of Lan WangJi's, presumably to stop him from trying again to check his bandages.

"You don't need to worry," Wei WuXian says. "I swear I'm fine. I'll tell you if something feels off. You know me, I'm a huge crybaby whiner."

Lan WangJi frowns at him again. It's true that Wei WuXian can be a bit of a crybaby, but only about injuries that don't actually matter. When it's something important, like a ghost curse or a fundamentally unstable necromantic practice, Wei WuXian keeps it to himself. "Ridiculous," Lan WangJi tells him. Wei WuXian grins down at him.

    Summary

Lan Zhan finds himself returning the smile. “Go home,” he urges gently, because it’s cold, and Wei Ying does not look like he’s dressed warmly enough to be out in the streets like this.

Wei Ying’s smile dims. “A-Ying sleeps here when it’s cold,” he tells Lan Zhan. “When it’s summer, A-Ying likes to stay by the pond!”

Lan Zhan frowns, looking at the alley around them. His stomach churns at the thought of leaving Wei Ying there. “Has Wei Ying eaten?”

    Summary

This was inspired by this comic , you can also find it on tumblr , and the creator has given me the okay to use it.

“Husband?” He scrambles away from Lan Wangji’s touch, looking close to screaming, looking like someone caught in the jaws of a nightmare.

Which was, Lan Wangji now thinks, an apt description for both their feelings.

“I don’t remember getting married.” The beloved voice has an edge to it, shaking, shrill, skirting the edge of madness.

“Wei Ying...” Lan Wangji’s voice is trembling as well. “What do you mean?”

“Wei Ying?” And he presses himself closer against the wall, eyes wide in panic. “You... you must be mistaken...”

And the next words, like someone grasping the blade in his heart by the hilt, twisting and twisting and pushing it deeper in, until not a drop of blood is left.

“You must be mistaken... my name is... Mo Xuanyu...”
