Summary
Obi-wan is tasked with tracking down an assassin after an attempt on Duchess Satine Kryze's life. Since Qui-Gon is staying behind to keep her safe from any further attacks, Obi-wan is paired with Clan Kryze's merc for hire; an up and coming bounty hunter named Jango Fett. And Obi-wan can't help that everything the bounty hunter does drives him mad.

It takes a lot of years chasing pucks before the jobs start calling you. Bodyguard work for the Duchess of Mandalore is a good way to shoot up the ranks. Foiling a plot to assassinate her doubly so (also helps take down some future competition in Jango's mind). But now he's stuck with this damn bratty little padawan. -

"This is the one with the new shaft drive - instead of the chain drive." He placed a hand on the fine red polish. "Intended to minimize potential damage from dust." He turned to Jayce, unflinching before his burning gaze.
