Feeling an obligation to show his face as the owner of the Dawn Winery, Diluc decides to tag along with Kaeya for a quick patrol around Mondstadt, checking in on the citizens as the city prepares for the Windblume Festival. It makes him realize just how much Kaeya has changed in the four years since their fight--and how much Diluc has missed.

Nero is not in his usual spot in the passenger's seat, and so V opens his mouth to inquire into the other man's whereabouts just as his foot collides with something surprisingly firm and heavy, sending him stumbling. It's Griffon who manages to right him, the demon's talons tearing through the back of V's leather vest as he latches on and hauls him backward, and V hisses out a pained sound of annoyance as the creature's claws drag along his back.
"Careful there, V," Nico says, although she does little to offer him assistance—not that he needs it, necessarily, but all the same. With a low grumble of annoyance he rights himself, leaning on his cane to help steady his balance as he casts a glance down to the van floor in an effort to find what he's tripped over.
"You're kidding," he says, quietly, because Nero is passed out cold on the floor at his feet, sprawled in an inelegant stretch that looks impossibly uncomfortable.

Nero had hoped, perhaps foolishly, that he'd be able to move on now that he'd gotten what he'd wanted. There was no denying he'd be thinking about the experience for weeks to come—Dante's hands, Dante's dick, the sound of his voice as it'd cracked, just barely, during his orgasm—but perhaps that'd be enough. Sate his curiosity, soothe his overactive demon-puberty fueled libido, and let him live his life in peace.
He'd been horribly wrong, of course, because that was the life that he apparently lived, hopping from one problem to the next like he was bearing some sort of curse.

Between Vergil's unstable mental state and their mutual refusal to have a proper conversation, it's going to be a miracle if they even survive long enough to confront the king of hell.)
