No one looks pretty when they cry.
It’s messy. Your hair gets stuck to your face, your make-up gets ruined and there’s fluids everywhere. It’s a raw emotion and a raw action. To cry is to show vulnerability, to show that you’re hurt. It’s inherently weak, inherently ugly.
It’s supposed to be, anyway.
Perhaps that’s why this is happening.
Because against all odds, Bennett looks even prettier when he cries.
