Summary
Ceciel Qloveras is the queen of Ornali, residing in the Palace of Liowesile. Tyrant, murderer, woman, she is despised for her lack of emotions and empathy. Her killing of the previous crown and family is no secret. Psychopathic, narcissistic, addicted to alcohol; a terrible ruler for such a wealthy kingdom.
Lady Diana Malove is delusional. She believes she can fix her. Of course she could. She’s the one for her. If Ceciel gave her such attention despite her strange appearance of white, she most certainly loves her. The golden thread around their necks prove it. They are fated. But why is Ceciel ignoring her? Why does she not see it? Is she hysterical for seeing this? No, she cried. I am the one for her. I do not care that we are illegal, for her love is the reason I live.
Wren Kalen is no stranger to being laughed at. He is the Queen’s fool, jester, after all. It was a blessing to even be near Ceciel. She gave him love and promotion while he was in the streets. Her words of praise were the reason he lived, her acceptance the reason he breathed. He kills for her. He humiliates himself for her, for tiny scraps of affirmations. He would kill himself for her alone if she was disappointed with his work.
