Summary
Set during Mass Effect 3 and after. Shepard is suffering severe PTSD after being brought back to life by Cerberus. Her painful and sudden death, followed by a frightening resurrection forced upon her without her knowledge or consent by the same organization that slaughtered her unit on Akuz, shook her badly. She feels unable to rekindle her relationship with Liara after suffering so much -- how could she, when Liara would blame herself for all the pain she would read in Shepard's mind? But when the Commander finds herself fighting alongside Kaidan Alenko again, her old attraction to him resurfaces.
These stories are interspersed throughout the action of ME3; the longest piece, "Some Kind of Beautiful", begins during the Extended Cut victory sequence. I'm not going to novelize the whole game; I'll use summaries and exposition to place each piece in continuity. The only alteration to canon in these stories is Shepard's trauma stemming from her resurrection by Cerberus. Any other non-canon stuff that crops up is either my bad memory or a typo.
Kaidan Alenko is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns in this series.

Summary
Resurrection is an ugly business even when gods do it; men with delusions of godhood just butcher the people they try to bring back from the dead. Shepard wakes up on a Cerberus slab, sliced up and sewn back together by the organization that murdered her entire unit on Akuze all those years ago. She must find a way to survive being crushed in the Illusive Man's grip while dealing with PTSD resultant from her death at Alchera and the subsequent Lazarus Project. Trapped and forced to work with an organization that has tried time and time again to kill her, shut out by nearly every person she ever trusted, and abandoned by the Alliance, she has no choice but to complete her mission with only Garrus by her side.
This series will cover the time from the beginning of Mass Effect 2 to the beginning of Mass Effect 3. I might add some stuff that takes place during the third game if I'm feeling enterprising, but no promises.

Summary
Jack and Aria T'Loak shack up on Omega and it's incredible. There will be adopted children, baby varren, stabbing, kinky sex, and a lot of blood. I'm really looking forward to writing these.
