   However, the next morning, it appeared nobody was leaving at all. The lady, otherwise known as Marieanne Manon Vacher, was dead in the middle of the hallway.

   You, the investigator, are charged with figuring out who killed her. Written in second person, you are never referred to by name, only as "Investigator".
