They've been growing distant in the past 3 to 4 years. But when Kojiro called him asking for a favor in the middle of the night, he felt it in his chest that something wasn't quite right, he couldn't explain it but he just knew.
Soon after the call, he found himself opening the door of his apartment to Kojiro who was holding a small child in his arms. She couldn't be more than 4 years old with a mess of green curly hair tied into pigtails softly snoring against Kojiro's shoulder.
