Summary
Lexa was sure she would not see the sunrise. She was right and she was wrong. She never saw Polis the same again. Instead she woke up in a different place, a different time, as someone else. Up in orbit on a space station named the Ark, she saw the sun rise above the planet. In this other life her mind was seemingly picked up and deposited into a body at the very beginning of fated events. She found herself being someone else than who she was supposed to be, and she wasn't the only one. There were others from her past life on the Ark, those who did not belong. The same was true of the surface. Whatever it was that brought her here, time dilation, causality reversal, breakdown of Newtonian flow of time, the explanations and reasons mattered little. Lexa was presented with a chance to change her past, now her future, for the better. It had to be on her this time 'round since she was the only one who remembered. Though, that assumption would prove to be untrue.
AKA Role Reversal Time Travel Fix-It where right after 307 time gets reset to the Pilot and many characters get all mixed up between Arkers/Skaikru and the Grounders.

She isn’t the one trapezing about New York in red and black spandex, and yet, somehow, face to face with this person she feels awfully small. “I work at the Ark.” Clarke pauses. “You haven’t told me yours.”
“Spider-man,” the woman says, and Clarke can hear the smile in it. Somewhere behind that mask, something small and gentle and warm. “Spider-woman as my friends like to call me. Or at least they would if I had any friends.”
The corner of Clarke’s lips quirk, and she tries to stop it but the resulting grin is inevitable. Her grasp tightens on the tape recorder in her hand and oh. This is bad. “That’s not what I meant.”

Clarke was too entranced by her avatar to notice they had used her mugshot for the facial scan, and to question where her mother had gotten the DNA sample. She took the device gingerly, cradling it in her hands like it would disappear, eyes trained on the features. They were hers, everything from her unable to miss bright blonde hair, down to the beauty mark on her upper lip, it was all there. Something that should’ve been unsettling, at the very least, but all she felt was an undeniable pull to it. Her avatar’s eyes were closed, but she imagined the sharp blue hidden behind even bluer eyelids staring back at her.
Despite the circumstance, Clarke realized with a slow exhale that her dream had finally come true. She would finally get to experience the ground. The mixed feelings that accompanied the realization were ones she was quick to push away. She’d deal with them another time. Right now, her ticket to freedom was at her fingertips, and the first day of her life was about to begin.

Ignoring Murphy and his cursing for a moment, she examined the human he’d been looking at. It was a woman, young, a girl really, partially trapped in the fields thick mud. Thin and gaunt, she looked a hairsbreadth from being a living skeleton, starvation having taken its toll.
She glared up at them, fire burning intensely in her eyes despite the haze of pain that clouded them. Even as malnourished and bloody as she was, the girl was beautiful, a power boiling inside her that drew the blonde to her like a moth to a flame. Clarke could see a beast stalking within the small human, and she had the inexplicable urge to see that beast purr.
