Summary
Frustrated by the pressure from both work and university combined, Galinda signs up for a pole dance class on a whim to finally do something for herself. It goes as good as could be expected, which is not at all, but she decides to soldier on anyway. Then one evening, her roommate joins her there. Turns out Elphaba is much better at this than Galinda ever hoped to be, and that doesn't help the crush Galinda has had on her for years.
Or, a story about pining and yearning and wilful ignorance born out of fear to ask for more, and how sometimes a bird in the hand is no better than two in the bush. How taking a risk could feel like both falling down and falling apart, and how it suddenly isn't that terrifying when someone is there to catch you.

Ha-na lets out a soft chuckle. Nothing is funny, but somehow, everything is. She breaks out into uncontrollable giggles, with pinpricks of tears just on the verge of falling. Her hand leaves his cheek and covers her face. “Sorry, I don’t know why I’m laughing.”
To her surprise, Mun laughs too. A little thing, not like the ones he shares with everyone else. “It’s okay. Me neither.”
For a while, they just are.
(or, alternatively, do ha-na pushing so mun's memories back into his head may have had some unintended consequences.)

It’s a complicated thing to have a heart that beats. Or, no, maybe a better way to say it is that it’s complicated to have a heart that beats for someone. How do you deal with that? How can you make peace with the fact that your blood pumps, not because of human survival or some other rational bullshit, but because of something as devastatingly frail as love?
You don’t. Maybe that’s the answer. You just let love keep you alive, and force your veins to keep going when love proves to be an unstable methodology.
And then what? What happens thereafter?
Nothing. You deal. You won’t die, but fuck if it doesn’t feel like you are.
