Summary
“Hey, just so you know. If you wanna catch Robin again before tonight, you can find her at the hospital.” Steve gives her a friendly nudge, with a knowing look in his eyes as they push open to the door to leave- but Nancy just looks forlorn in response.
“Oh, I don’t know. I tried something today, and got nothing.” She heaves a sigh, toying with a strand of her hair. There’s something tired in her face, a begrudging acceptance. “I don’t think she’s… like me. I should probably just let it go.”
Steve tries. He really, really, tries to stifle his snort, out of respect for his friend, and it ends up coming out as more of a strangled cough. He doubles over in a hacking fit, overcome by the absurdity of it all. God, this was the Fast Times return debacle all over again.
Or, Steve and Nancy concoct a half-baked scheme to get together again, just to make Robin and Jonathan jealous.
And, of course, it fails. Miserably.

Will lifts his head up from his hands, eyes wide, and shakes his head. “You don’t understand.” He pleads with his awful, awful friends, voice low. “He’s been, he’s using my-he came out of my bathroom in just a towel last night.”
