Bob’s first instinct is to tug on John’s suit, frustrated that he can’t feel him closer with the amount of layers between them.
But the protest dies in his throat when he drags his bare foot up John’s leg, which is cladded in his pants and as he moves lower… boots. His robe rides up with the motion. Bob feels the hard material against his bare skin and shudders.
He flattens his palm against John’s back, feeling the dips and rises of the suit beneath– becoming all too aware of how the buckle of the utility belt digs into his hip bone, how he can feel the edge of John’s knee pad against his inner thigh. His arms tighten around John’s back almost instinctively, back arching to press closer to him.
John slightly lifts his head, not able to move too much with the grip Bob has on him. “Bob?”
Bob doesn’t know what to say, how to put it into words that this feels… good– that it feels so right. The feeling of John’s suit, with hard edges digging into his skin as John lays on top of him, all sturdy and warm and big in that damned suit.
