Summary
Shigeo has not used his powers since he was 15, and he plans to keep it that way. Until a run-in with a young, exuberant teen named Reigen tears off his hood. Shigeo then meets Teru and Shou, the co-founders of an organization called TRUST created to help young espers grow and thrive. Through these new friendships, Shigeo is exposed to other espers, forced to reckon with his own powers, confront past traumas, and grapple with emotions that he thought he would never experience again.

In hindsight, she’s glad she did, because otherwise she would never have gotten to witness this with her own eyes. As she is taking out her items for the interview, a floating pitcher of tea floats past her ear, effortlessly pouring iced tea into a tall glass and gracefully setting down on the coffee table, before bobbing through the air back to where it came from.

Summary
Teru didn’t close his eyes, that he was sure. Still, he couldn’t recall his trip to the hospital, or the first aid that the paramedics and then nurses offered him, or the horrified faces of the patients cluttering the neighboring rooms. All these details were told to him in patches by other people; the hospital employees. He supposedly went through emergency surgery less than an hour after he arrived, and the anesthetist called it a miracle that he had no sequelae. None of that he would have known.
Nothing, nothing but his and Kageyama’s fight.
Those memories didn’t arrive in flashes. They were burned into his brain.
