Just a year ago she had been married, working her dream job and she and Dan had been making enough money to be able to live comfortably. That had all been before Palmetto though, after that her whole life basically went down the drain. She is now a divorced single mom, working horrible hours cleaning hotel rooms for a shitty wage just to try and get through the weeks one at a time. And, again, she is about to be homeless. Needless to say she really needs this apartment."
Chloe is in desperate need of a new apartment. Lucifer is still the devil and runs Lux, but also rents out apartments on the floor between Lux and his penthouse.

They preached the colorful world, had brochures and courses and first instructions for the colorblind that suddenly had their world shaken by color.
But it wasn’t how it had happened to him.
Colors hadn’t burst all of a sudden. His world hadn’t been shaken to its core. The colors had come slowly, as little things in his day. They had had their time to develop as that bubbly little thing grew inside him.
In hindsight, Lucifer should’ve known it wouldn’t have happened like that for him. Nothing in his life ever happened as it was supposed to…

Summary
In season 3, episode 21, "Anything Pierce Can Do, I Can Do Better," both Lucifer Morningstar and Marcus Pierce rush to Chloe Decker's apartment for one last attempt to win her back.
Pierce arrives first, and Lucifer can only watch through a window as Pierce proposes and Chloe accepts.
Unless ... Lucifer got there first? And had a chance to say a few important things before the other man barged in?
He's promised to tell Chloe the truth. How will she handle celestial revelations, a jackass of an ex, too much coffee, not enough sleep, and Pierce's secrets and lies? (Probably with Maze's tequila.)
