Summary
After a record-breaking year and a blindsiding trade, MLB pitcher and 2024 Cy Young winner Tyler Joseph is going into the 2025 season alone. Josh is two thousand miles away wearing different colors, catching for a different team, and Tyler is supposed to pretend like it doesn’t matter. He’s got a rotation to lead and 162 games to survive, even if the most important person in his life isn’t there.
Now Josh is gone, the season is starting, and the distance between them just gets wider and wider. All while navigating a sport that demands silence from players like them.

Summary
The year is 1968, and Tyler has just started his senior year of college. Known as the eldest Joseph son and expected to take over the lucrative family business, Tyler must play the part: get his degree, marry a God-fearing woman, and continue his family’s legacy.
Josh is a 22-year-old laborer with a bleeding heart and a busy lifestyle, bouncing between work, playing drums, and attending anti-war demonstrations and social justice protests. With a seemingly endless supply of passion, he never has a Plan B.
As their paths cross and Josh introduces Tyler to a life he didn’t even know was possible, Tyler slowly discovers that maybe he doesn’t quite fit the picture everyone has painted for him.

Summary
Sure, Tyler would consider him and Josh to be pretty close. Closer than most guy friends their age, even. Josh knows things about Tyler that he’s never told anyone. Not his girlfriends, his journals—not even God. But this?
This is an entirely new level. A level that Tyler could never in a million years have prepared for.
