Summary
What he feels for Mack is all-encompassing, too large for his body. It scares him sometimes. He’d been warned about the many faces temptations can wear but he never thought it would wear a jersey just like his own and shoot him toothy smiles on the ice. He never thought temptation would come in the form of his best friend.
Will can hear the priest shift behind the wall of the confessional, and tries to imagine the man’s face. Is he wearing a harsh, disappointed expression or a kind one, assuring Will he can be saved? “How long have you had these feelings?” he asks.
“For over a year, Father.”
“And have you acted on these carnal desires?"
Will swallows heavily. What is he supposed to say? Yes, Father: in every position, in every room of the house, I’ve bent him over every surface, I’ve made him sob into every pillow we own. I’ve touched him in the way a man is only supposed to touch his wife. And sometimes I can feel the hellfire lick at my feet because I think I love him more than the Heavenly Father Himself.

Or: While they're on the road Will goes to confess his sins and makes a stupid bet with Mack, in that order. It goes as well as anyone could expect.

Summary
As soon as his agent picks up, Macklin spills the tea while it’s still piping hot.
“Is there anything in my contract about… physical relationships with staff or, like, people in the organisation?” Macklin blurts out.
There is a very pregnant pause. “People in the organisation?” His agent repeats slowly. “What did you do, Mack?”
“Nothing,” Mack says, too quickly to sound convincing. “Just… hypothetically.”

Or, Macklin spends the hottest night of his life with a pretty boy whose blond curls are nothing short of gorgeous. The next morning, he finds out that he just slept with the son of the man who owns the San Jose Sharks. He does not handle it well.

"House rules, Mack. You guys have to sleep separately," Aiden announces.
“That’s so dumb!” Mack says shrilly. “We’re not even gonna do anything!”
Aiden spreads his arms in frustration. “It doesn’t matter, Mack! If I don’t get to share with my girlfriend, you don’t get to share with your boyfriend.”
“God, it’s not like he’s gonna rail me in my childhood bedroom with everyone in the house!” Mack whines loudly.
Great. Now Will is stuck at the Celebrinis' for the next two weeks---sleeping under their roof, eating their food, and taking advantage of their overall generosity--all while Rick and Robyn enjoy their newfound knowledge that he tops their son.
