Summary
He remembers something brushing against his skin, along his arms, his waist, his hips. He remembers a warm wetness on his inner thighs, tracing circles and shapes in its path. He remembers being held but also being moved, and a hard smooth surface on his back, and a pressure that envelopes more than just the outside of his body, but somehow the inside too.
Oh, and Alhaitham.
He remembers Alhaitham.
Kaveh has a dream. Alhaitham wants to hear about it.

Summary
For the fifth day in a row, Alhaitham wakes up next to Kaveh.
Much is the same as those past few days. One particularly vocal dusk bird trills outside his window; the morning sunlight streams diagonally across his bed. His room is the same, his sheets are the same—his dresser is still over filled with clothes that aren’t entirely his own.
One key difference remains. The morning before, he had woken up next to a man he knew he loved; today, he wakes up next to a man he knows loves him.

Summary
“Welcome home.” Alhaitham stands in the foyer, arms uncrossing to help Kaveh bring his mother’s bag onto the floor.
She looks to her son, then back at Alhaitham, then back to Kaveh again, brows knit in confusion.
“I, er… I suppose I should explain. Mother, this is my—” He pauses, hiding the way he falters behind an awkward cough.
“Alhaitham.”
Due to an unexpected visit from his mother, Kaveh asks Alhaitham to pretend to be more than his roommate. The week ends up being more than either of them bargained for.

Summary
But even from the row at the very back of the room, Alhaitham can see the blush that still blooms on the top of Kaveh’s cheekbones and he knows it has nothing to do with nerves. Kaveh has spent the first half of the lecture standing next to the instructor’s desk at the front of the room while Mehrak projects various diagrams for the audience and Alhaiham can’t help but assume why; he’s seen enough of these lectures to know that Kaveh is usually one to pace across the platform as he speaks.
And yet despite the evidence supporting his conclusion that Kaveh is still agonizingly aroused, Alhaitham can’t do anything about it.
While lecturing with Alhaitham in the audience, Kaveh finds himself under a new sort of pressure. (Alhaitham suffers too.)

Summary
Unprepared for the revelation that Alhaitham was actually listening, Kaveh plans his retort in strained silence. On the other side of the table, Tighnari holds his hand of cards to the side as if to form a barrier that will block the sound of his poorly contained whisper, seemingly ignorant of the fact that he’s just revealed his entire next turn to Cyno.
“Do you think they bicker this much in bed?”
A story of two roommates, told in six tavern scenes.
