Eventually, Han couldn’t feel his own hands or feet or nose, and he couldn’t hear Luke’s whispers over the wind, but he could feel Luke’s pulse in his neck, Han’s ear mashed against it to listen to the dull noise, desperate for the sound of each steady beat, always bringing a tiny wave of comfort.
