Jules took that train and never looked back, or that is what she tells everyone, what she tells herself. Years after graduation, she is a model, actor, and costume designer; her manager/boyfriend keeps her life running, and everything is - or should be - good. The last thing Jules ever expected was to find Rue homeless on the streets of New York. Having a glimpse of the past she thought she had left behind changes everything because she may have failed that girl once, but she won't ever do it again.

Supergirl stared at her peculiarly, arms crossed. The hairs on the back of Lena’s neck rose, and she wasn’t quite sure why. Supergirl seemed to be studying her, and it was disconcerting.
After a few moments, Supergirl stepped forward. “Why does she like you so much?”
Lena blinked back in surprise. “Who?”
“Kara Danvers.”
For a moment, Lena didn’t know what to say, before shaking her head. “Why don’t you ask her yourself? You’re her friend, not mine.”
