Two years have passed since Dana Scully walked out of the home she shared with Mulder.
Six months have passed since Stella Gibson's investigation in Belfast concluded.Scully, a Fulbright Scholar, has arrived in London for a year to investigate what makes for productive relationships between forensics / medical branches within police departments; trying to capture and understand more clearly the energy and verve she once shared with Mulder. Her investigation into what makes for a good working partnership in the criminal field puts her in the hands of Stella Gibson; freshly returned to field work and investigating a string of femicide throughout London.
Together they begin piecing together a complex series of murders...and maybe a whole lot more.

Following the death of her husband Daniel, Dana Scully has begun taking their young daughter to a child psychologist to help cope with the loss of her father...after getting to know Dr. Fox Mulder through the Christmas season she begins to experience her own healing journey and realizes that maybe there really is hope in love.
There is angst in this story, but don't worry—it will end as it should. Xx
