Meanwhile—why does everyone assume Rory likes Jess? It’s Paris she’s been distracted from her relationship by, but it wouldn’t matter regardless, because clearly Paris likes Jess. Why else would she be working at the diner?

“Sorry. Bad habit,” Robin forces out. Her voice sounds rough, breathy, nothing like herself.
Nancy smiles, kind. Even this close to Robin, Nancy looks at her like there’s nothing wrong with her, with the way she is. All of Robin’s incompetence and how uncontrollable she feels sometimes, Nancy sees all of it. And Nancy, perfect fucking Nancy Wheeler, doesn’t shy away. She wants more, more of Robin.

Robin is going on a crawl and Nancy fights her about it. Nancy has to teach robin to use a gun, she ends up walking away. Robin goes after her and Nancy reassures her that she is there for her. Robin realizes she is in love with Nancy. Navy + Robin grow closer again, Robin tells Nancy that she likes girls. Nancy accepts her. Chapter 5
