Eddie groaned. He was so fully caught out it wasn’t even funny. “Buck. Listen.”
Buck laughed delightedly, “I am listening. I expect to hear a fully rational, logical adult reason for why you know this tik tok trend. One that doesn’t have to do with you harbouring a secret tik tok account like you are a teenage boy hiding things from his mother.”
“Okay, this is getting hostile. Take it down a notch.” But Buck was right. Eddie hadn’t felt like this since he got caught sneaking out for a party at 16.
Buck was nearing breathlessness he was laughing so hard. “A secret tik tok, Eddie? Are you for real? I can’t even… What is your handle? Something totally inconspicuous right? ‘throwawaytiktok’? ‘username123’? Huh? What is it?”
Eddie was blushing, now, because ‘username123’ was taken and he had signed up with ‘456username’ as his handle.
Eddie would not incriminate himself further, and desperately tried to change the subject, “So are we just going to not talk about how you decided the best way to have our first kiss was as a tik tik challenge? That seems like something we should discuss.”or, buck does the kiss ur best friend challenge and eddie know exactly what is about to happen

Summary
Buck married Doug right out of high school, he never knew how much he'd grow to regret it.
Buck leaves Doug and heads to LA to find his sister. When he arrives and Maddie is not where Buck thought, he has to make due, staying with one night stands, hopping around trying to track down his sister in a city he doesn't know how to navigate. The crew at the 118 help in unexpected ways, one person in particular. Though, even after Buck finds Maddie, he still has things he needs to figure out.

Summary
Eddie gets an injury at work that leads him to getting hoped up on meds that give him temporary amnesia. He gushes over Buck, much to his embarrasment the next day. It makes Eddie realize he is not as affection to Buck and Buck is to him, and he remedies that.
Or, one time Buck accidentally lets Eddie know he is insecure in their relationship and three times Eddie showers him with the affection he deserves.

Eddie doesn't even pause to consider, he just leans in and kisses Buck on his cheek, his hand coming up and holding the other side of Buck's face so the kiss lands squarely.
Buck laughs, not meanly, just so genuinely surprised that he can't help himself. "I meant Chris's backpack, but thank you for that."
