Summary
When he was a child and came to have the blessing of the one alone, Peter was taken to his great grandfather's study by his uncle. He sat him down at age 12 and he told him about a story, one passed down by generations of their family.
Peter was told about a selkie, a coat and of his great grandfather Mordechai who kept that coat to ensure the selkie would not harm their family. He listens, a bit confused, perhaps wary, but after seeing Forsaken at work he can't say the existence of a thing like a selkie is out of the realm of possibilities.
It's a simple thing really, once Peter is older, his job will be to look after the coat and deal with the creature. He will keep the coat with him, and keep it away from the selkie it belongs to, it does not matter what face he has, how many times it changes, the coat's powers continues to work no matter the years and the bodies.

Summary
Jonah falls and dies and lives over and over and over again, fear and regret gripping at him while he does.
Finally there comes an end, darkness.
That is when he finally wakes up screaming in pain as he feels his chest bleed and his lungs fill with blood all over again. He chokes up as he hears people rush in and he is dragged away, its hard to say what is happening, but he finally is able to lose consciousness after what felt like years.
Elias knows no more.

His eyes go to the taller man, who he realizes looks strikingly similar to Mordechai, albeit in a more… less sharp way? His hair was longer than the man would ever let it be, almost fully gray. He looked… soft. In a way the Lukas patriarch never had, not even when he let him take charge during certain activities.
The other man that he has to assume is a medic comes closer and starts to check him, he shines a- light ? At his eyes, Jonah has to squint, then he asks a question that leaves him confused.
“How do you feel, Mr Bouchard?”
