Summary
There was a dead body in Astarion’s kitchen.
Well. That was something. Whoever they were, they took his entire basket of embroidered dish towels down with them. Tav was going to be heartbroken—the autumn crocus set was her favorite.
Nearly a dozen towels, all flowers native to the fields around their winter home and a few only found in the crevices of their more full-time Underdark residence. All soaked in blood. Not even fresh blood, or blood that has the decency to have, say, fallen into a cup instead of turning to goopy gelatin all over his floors.

After everything, a peculiar murder is dropped right into Tav and Astarion's kitchen. They haven't really gotten to be gumshoes, before. Astarion's looking forward to it.

Summary
20 years ago there was an Alpha-specific sex murder in Manyang, and (not actually a) Beta Inspector Han Joo-Won means to solve it once and for all. Luckily, he's pretty sure he knows who the culprit is. He's desperate to solve it and will let nothing stand in his way - not even unexpected biological surprises about the culprit in question: Lee Dong-Sik, the Alpha ex-RIU agent who only just managed to escape conviction the first time.
Lee Dong-Sik had no idea that the oddly good smelling Beta Princeling from Seoul was about to swoop grumpily into his life, but is enjoying the show nonetheless. Especially as it gives him an opportunity to reopen his sister's cold case. He could do without his blockers starting to fail, though. The last thing he needs is to be openly outed as a male omega. Especially when he knows there's a murderer in Manyang.
