Draco can’t help but imagine a future with Hermione every time he sees her interacting with Scorpius—caring for his son and loving him as if he were her own child. It’s too difficult to not imagine the diamond ring he would present to her, the wedding dress she might wear, and how it would feel to expand his family, giving Scorpius a younger sibling. He knows he shouldn’t be planning so far into the future, not when they’ve only officially been a couple for a few months and Hermione is nearly fifteen years his junior.
