Summary
“I was wondering if I could go out during the day, maybe tomorrow? I feel like I haven’t seen the kingdom in a while, and it’s almost autumn. I’d like to see Prime Square during summer before the year ends”
Dream sighs, and it twists something in George’s chest. The last thing he wants to do is disappoint.
“Oh Georgie, please don’t ask me that, I don’t want to be the bad guy.” Dream catches hold of George’s hand, circling the palm with a gloved thumb. “It’s just not safe for you out there, especially with how volatile everything has been. And besides, you have the gardens, the pond, the orchards. It’s not like you're locked up in here, now is it?”
Or:
George is the supposed ruler of the Viridian Kingdom, despite Dream pulling the strings from his position as Captain of the Royal Guard. Slowly stripped of his basic freedoms as Dream seeks greater and greater control, respite comes in the form of Sapnap whilst Dream is away dealing with foreign affairs (namely, the supervision of Tommy's exile).
Everything seems better, until one thing leads to another and George winds up entangled in a whole other kind of 'affair'.

Summary
DreamXD pushed his hand hard over George’s mouth, attempting to stop any further attempts to call for help. The experiment struggled a couple seconds longer before breaking, warm tears falling down his face, puddling in the crevice of the god’s golden hands.
“Where am-” he coughed, his words muffled and quiet.
“Shh,” the deity brought his hand away from George’s mouth, moving to scrape his nails through dark brown hair. “It’s okay."
or
DreamXD is keeping George unconscious in the End, and manipulating his dreams.

Summary
“George, I fucking revived you, and you’re not even going to thank me?”
George looked at Dream. His green eyes were dark, his face twisted in rage. A familiar rage, one George had seen many times before, but never like this. This was rage dipped in hurt, and rejection. A need for validation. Dream needed George to thank him, to grovel at his feet for saving his life. George scowled as a particularly ugly thought crossed his mind: perhaps Dream had only revived him so George would praise him for it, call him a God and treat him like he was something holy.
“For all I know, you’re the reason I fucking died, Dream,” snapped George. “Now get out of my way.”Upon breaking out of prison, Dream finds George's abandoned corpse in the woods. Bewildered and stricken with grief, he revives him.
Unfortunately for Dream, there is a certain deity pulling the strings in the afterlife that has decided George belongs to Him, and Him alone.
Morbid shenanigans ensue.
