Summary
When they pull apart, Stu grins at Murdoc. “Tell me a secret you’ve never told anyone,” he says just to start a new conversation. The answer doesn’t matter, he just wants to keep talking to Murdoc and never let this moment fade away.
“I’ve told you everything,” Murdoc shoots back. “Actually, that’s not true,” he adds suddenly. Then he rests his hands on the dock behind him and stares out at the sea. “When we were trapped on Plastic Beach, I would tell the sea about you.”

“Hey, Mur?”
Speak of the Devil and he shall appear. Murdoc opens his eyes and slides his gaze over to where Stu is on the bed. He’s sitting next to Murdoc’s suitcase, looking at Murdoc with furrowed brows. Murdoc narrows his eyes pointedly, hoping that Stu hasn’t opened the suitcase and seen what’s inside it. “What?” He asks calmly.
Stu smiles, “Nothing. I just thought you were asleep.”

Summary
“Morning, Nightingale," Murdoc coos. It might be because of how early it is, but Murdoc's chest feels lighter. This is a peaceful moment that he's allowed to enjoy. That he can savor because he earned it.
Stu's other eye opens and his gaze finds Murdoc. Slowly his glare becomes a spark in his eye and his lips curl upward. "Hi Murdoc," he says. His voice is ridden with sleep, raspy and in need of water. His hand reaches out once more, this time finding Murdoc's hand and linking their fingers.
